Big coat on. Gloves located. Fireworks tickets somewhere in the group chat.

Fireworks season has officially arrived in Richmond.

If you’re heading to Richmond’s Family Fireworks Night 2026, make Megan’s your first stop. Join us for an early dinner under the fairy lights before heading to Richmond Athletic Ground — and grab a takeaway coffee or hot chocolate for the walk.

We’ll provide the cosy bit. Richmond can provide the fireworks.

When Are Richmond Fireworks 2026?

Richmond’s Family Fireworks Night takes place on Sunday 1st November 2026 at Richmond Athletic Ground, and this year it has a Halloween twist.

Gates open at 4.30pm, live entertainment begins at 5.30pm and the Halloween-themed fireworks display starts at 7pm. There’s also a funfair and plenty happening around the ground throughout the evening.

Tickets need to be bought in advance, and the event has sold out in previous years, so this is definitely not one for the last-minute planners.

Start Your Evening in Richmond

A 7pm fireworks display calls for one thing.

An early dinner.

Start your evening at Megan’s at the Old Town Hall in Richmond, where the fairy lights are twinkling and dinner is considerably warmer than standing outside in November.

Bring the family, bring your friends, bring the person who claims they’re “not really cold” while visibly shivering.

Everyone is welcome.

Early Dinner Before Richmond Fireworks

Settle in for Eastern Mediterranean dishes, warm flatbreads, mezze, little grills & Megan’s favourites before heading out for the evening.

With last entry to the fireworks at 6.30pm, we’d recommend giving yourself plenty of time to eat, catch up and make your way over rather than turning dinner into an Olympic event.

Bonfire Night should be cosy.

Not rushed.

From Richmond Town Centre to the Fireworks

Once dinner is done, wrap up and make your way towards Richmond Athletic Ground on Twickenham Road.

The ground is less than five minutes’ walk from Richmond station, with organisers recommending public transport for the event.

And before you go…

Grab Something Warm for the Walk

Do not underestimate the emotional support provided by a hot drink in November.

Grab a takeaway coffee or hot chocolate from Megan’s before heading towards the fireworks.

Warm hands. Happy people. Much better.

Make a Night of Richmond Fireworks 2026

Fireworks at 7pm.

Dinner beforehand.

Something warm for the walk.

That sounds like Sunday sorted to us.

Join us at Megan’s at the Old Town Hall for an early dinner before Richmond’s Family Fireworks Night 2026.

Book your table early & start Bonfire Night somewhere cosy.
