What data do we collect?

We may collect the following information from you:

  • Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests and potential other information provided through surveys, competitions and offers.
  • Technical information, including Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect to our wifi, login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, operating system and platform

How do we collect your data?

If you contact us through our website or by email to provide feedback or to make a booking we will ask you for your name and email address, alongside information related to the restaurant visited and date. Correspondence may be retained to ensure that our standards are being met.

Your name and email address will be retained for marketing purposes if you choose to opt in to receive marketing communications. This database is maintained by our external email marketing provider, Campaign Monitor, access to which is password protected. If you contact us through our website to apply for a job, we will ask you for your name, email address and contact telephone number, along with a cover letter and a copy of your CV. This is requested purely for recruitment purposes. If your application is processed further, it will be stored on our internal databases which are securely stored on our password-protected Dropbox. At the end of the recruitment process we will delete your CV.

What do we use this data for?

Primarily we use the collected date to provide service, but may also use for:

  • Internal analysis and statistics including demographics and page views
  • Respond to feedback
  • Improving our products and services
  • Sending marketing communications by email
  • Booking tables for guests
  • Market research
