Supporting our Community
So far we have raised £ 00,000 For local charities and causes
20% donated to charity
We donate 20% of our still & sparkling water sales to local charities & causes, which are chosen by our neighbours. Plus, the water is filtered & bottled on site, which reduces carbon emissions, eliminates waste & saves energy. It's very good water. Scroll down to read about some of the charities & causes we have donated to & community events we have hosted with our neighbours.
Ace of Clubs, Clapham
Lockdown was very difficult for many people, & particularly difficult for those without a roof over their heads. We donated to 4 local charities, close to 4 of our Megan's homes & our team's hearts. Ace of Clubs is a family-like community providing transformative support for those who are homeless, vulnerable and otherwise marginalised in the area. The team at Ace of Clubs is focused on linking people in with a wide range or services including accommodation, welfare, rehab, training, healthcare & more.
Beam, which is close to the hearts of our Islington neighbours, crowdfund new career opportunities for homeless men and women. The provide them with a support network from their support specialists to the kind strangers who fund their campaigns. They use technology to find scalable solutions to the toughest social problems - starting with homelessness.
Glass Door, Chelsea
Glassdoor, which is close to our Chelsea & Kensington homes, coordinates an open-access network of emergency winter shelters & support services for people affected by homelessness. Their vision is a world where no one has to sleep on the streets of London, and they work every day to achieve this. By partnering with churches and community centres to provide shelter and support, Glass Door is committed to supporting people get - and stay - off the street.
Open Door, St Albans
Open Door, with the help of the St Albans’ community, has supported over 7,000 people who have experienced homelessness & been at risk of sleeping rough. The Charity funds improvements to the Open Door shelter, as well as covering the costs of outreach services and the volunteer coordinator. The Open Door Charity focuses its efforts on fundraising to support and develop homelessness services, & recruiting new volunteers.
Guide Dogs, London
We are currently sponsoring a very, very cute guide dog puppy through her training to become a fully fledged guide dog. She is called Megan, of course.
The Royal Trinity Hospice, Clapham
The Royal Trinity Hospice provide skilled, compassionate care and support to people with progressive, life-limiting illnesses and those close to them. This charity has a very strong sentimental value for our founder. RTH support people living in the central and south west London community, at home and at the hospice. At any moment, Trinity is caring for 700 patients.
Little Village, Balham
Little Village provide baby clothes & equipment, donated by local families, to local families. They are our neighbour in our Balham home. Little Village promote sustainable living & are a voluntary enterprise run by a group of local parents. They offer a weekly drop-in service for families that need support, a delivery service and they provide a referrals-based service for partners, such as health visitors, children’s centres, midwives and local foodbanks.
At Megan's, all of our display boards & high tables are made by Rough Stuff, which is a charity that works closely with the Mount Prison in Hertfordshire. Using English character oak, each piece is unique & handmade by prisoners. This brings new pride, skills and job discipline to the inmates & the income is used for the running of the prison.
