Turkish Cheese Fondue Recipe ‘Muhlama’: Easy to make recipe for home.

Turkish cheese fondue recipe: Every Wednesday on our Instagram during the Corona virus lockdown, we will be posting tutorials on our Instagram for some of your favourite dishes on our menu. Also, there will be other fun activities and recipes!

For our first “Work from home” Wednesday recipe: The Turkish cheese fondue ‘Muhlama’ recipe. This recipe is famous in the Black Sea region of Turkey. We have simplified the recipe and amended to a portion for one person, so that you can times that by how many people there are in your house, or just make it for yourself 🙂
Our Executive Chef, Sercan, is from Turkey and so a lot of our dishes have a Turkish or Mediterranean influence.

What you need to make the fondue:

  • 200 grams mozzarella
  • 125 grams butter
  • 2 tbsp flour (we use gluten free)
  • 100ml water
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • A pinch of salt

We will be giving you simplified recipes and tutorials for our yummy menu items but of course, if you fancy yourself as quite the chef then we are giving you the full details of how we serve. For example, for the Turkish fondue, we add burnt butter and z’atar to the top to serve.
