How to make espresso martinis at home: Adam De Permentier is our barista at our Kings Road restaurant in Fulham. Adam has been with us since the very beginning & is such a credit to us at Megan’s! We are so lucky that he is a part of the Megan’s family!

Adam has very kindly been making some cocktails at home & showing us the ropes on simplified recipes, with cupboard ingredients when needed! This week, Adam is showing us how to make espresso martinis at home! Espresso martinis are an essential after all…

Our espresso martinis are voted the best in south west London & when we re-open our doors, you can certainly pop by to try them and find out why!

In the mean time, here is Adam showing us how to make our famous espresso martinis at home!

How to make espresso martinis at home: Watch the video.

You can watch the video on our Instagram here.

Or you can watch the video on our YouTube here.

What you need.

  • Cocktail shaker. Or you can use a protein shaker or also, a water bottle works if you don’t own a cocktail shaker.
  • Tia Maria. Or you can use Baileys if you don’t have Tia Maria.
  • Vodka.
  • Coffee. Adam uses instant in his video as he was unable to buy the real deal, so use whatever coffee you can.
  • Sugar. If you have sugar syrup, then that’s amazing, but if not, sugar also works too!
  • Chocolate powder. Cocoa powder or hot chocolate powder is great.
  • Boiling water. From the kettle 🙂

Send us your pictures!

There is a picture of our famous espresso martini in our gallery here. This is how you want it to look, but obviously we know that you don’t have Megan’s stencils at home & likely won’t have coffee beans to garnish! So, a sprinkle of chocolate powder will work perfectly.

Please do send us your pictures on Instagram or to bookings@megans.co.uk as we would love to see your attempts at home!
