Highbury and Islington restaurants: Megan’s at the Sorting Office is a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Islington, about half way down Upper Street. The restaurant is actually situated in Islington Square, which is a development of flats & lovely homeware shops, like Borough Kitchen. There is also a children’s play club, a gym, & also, a cinema.

We were one of the first businesses to join Islington Square and have watched it flourish into the beautiful development that it now is. There is also a wonderful terrace, which is great in the summer, & a weekly market too.

The menu at Megan’s is slightly Mediterranean. Our menu is by Executive Chef Sercan, who is Turkish.

We are open for all day brunch, deli lunch, evening grill, & also, cocktails & parties too.

We are very family friendly, laptop friendly & also dog friendly. And of course, we are Prosecco friendly too.

Finding Megan’s at the Sorting Office, Islington Square.

We are located at Islington Square’s Old Sorting Office. It is a lovely building, which has a great outside space in the square. Perfect to waste a summer’s evening in, with a cocktail in hand.

Islington Square is half way down upper street, between Angel Station & Highbury & Islington station. It is off the main road slightly, so you may need to use Google Maps to find us. You can find us on Google Maps here.

The Square will be welcoming new shops, restaurants & amenities soon. It really is a wonderful hub in the centre of Islington.

The restaurant is rather large, with lots of different areas to enjoy. We have a lounge with a charity bookshop. Or there is also the main dining area or our bar area inside. Alternatively, we have the outside terrace, which is covered and heated in colder months. Plus, we have blankets outside for you too.
