Restaurants near Highbury and Islington: Megan’s at the sorting office (Islington) is a beautiful & large restaurant in Islington Square, about half way down off Upper Street.

The restaurant is in a pretty square, away from the hustle & bustle of the main shopping street. There are shops, cafes, restaurants & a weekend market in the square. Plus, Megan’s has lots of outdoor dining to enjoy the sunshine in.

We are open all day & evening for brunch, lunch & dinner.

Our menu at Megan’s is loosely Mediterranean. All of our dishes are created by our Executive Head Chef Sercan, who is Turkish.

At brunch, we offer classic brunch, or twists on Turkish classics, like Shakshouka Baked Eggs, Eggs Royale & also a full English-ish.

At lunch, we have a full healthy deli bar, plus kebabs & more. Our brunch is also available all day.

In the evening, we have mezze sharing plates, kebabs & also grilled meats.

We are also extremely family friendly at Megan’s! We have a toy box filled with Melissa & Doug toys, a children’s menu, lots of space for your push chairs, tons of high chairs, plus the babyccinos are on us! Our kiddies menu features brunch options, lunch options & evening options too.

Finding Megan’s at the Sorting Office in Islington Square.

We are located at the beautiful old sorting office in Islington Square. It is a stunning building, which has a great outside space for relaxing in the summer for enjoying picnics, takeaway cocktails, or also for dining al fresco at our restaurant.

The square is about half way down Upper Street, between Angel and Highbury and Islington. Megan’s & the square are slightly set back off the main road.
